Запечатанные артефакты Бездны (Sealed Abyss Artifacts) открывают испытания, за прохождение которых выдают обычные Бездн-артефакты (Abyss Artifacts) для прокачки навыков и снаряжения. Обычно их группируют по категории испытаний, а не по локациям — в открытом мире их можно собирать в любом порядке.

Как найти запечатанные артефакты Бездны
Большинство лежит на каменных или деревянных алтарях (altars) у дорог, часть — в Святилищах Седогривых (Greymane Shrines). Привыкнув к характерному виду «сложенных камней», их проще замечать.
Рядом с таким алтарём на мини-карте появляется фиолетовая иконка Abyss Artifact.
Самый первый артефакт можно взять уже в прологе — у маленькой святыни справа сразу после моста по пути в Хернанд за Себастьяном.
Категории испытаний
Артефакты разбиты на три больших раздела: Mastery Challenges (Испытания мастерства), Combat Challenges (Боевые испытания) и Life Challenges (Жизненные испытания).
Раздел Mastery включает линейки «Совет Гойена» (Goyen's Advice) по типам снаряжения: Меч (Sword), Щит (Shield), Лук (Bow), Копьё (Spear), Двуручное оружие (Two-Handed Weapon), Пушка (Cannon), Рапира (Rapier), Огнестрел (Gun), Особое снаряжение (Special Equipment) и Лошадь (Horse).
Пример: совет Гойена — меч
В линейке «Совет Гойена — меч» (Goyen's Advice — Sword) шесть Испытаний мастерства. Испытание меча 1 (Sword of Trials 1) — в святыне справа после моста по пути в Хернанд (задание: убить 3 врагов за 30 секунд одноручным мечом). Испытание меча 2 (Sword of Trials 2) — на нижней петле дороги юго-восточнее Шпиля Прозрения (Spire of Insight) и юго-западнее Маяка Глухолесья (Deepwoods Beacon) (убить 3 врагов сразу; помогает Поворотный удар (Turning Slash)).
Испытание меча 3 (Sword of Trials 3) — на перекрёстке между мельницей Весеннего прилива (Springtide Mill) и торговым постом Золотой лист (Goldleaf Tradepost) (убить 3 врагов без урона). Испытание меча 4 (Sword of Trials 4) — северо-западнее мастерской Килнден (Kilnden Workshop), за прудом у дороги (3 врагов сразу через Поворотный удар (Turning Slash)). Испытание меча 5 (Sword of Trials 5) — западнее фермы Сенного аромата (Hayscent Farm) (3 врагов подряд только приёмом Укол (Stab), награда включает Разрыв 1 (Rend 1)). Испытание меча 6 (Sword of Trials 6) — ещё дальше по той же линейке.
Приём Поворотный удар (Turning Slash) по группе врагов закрывает сразу несколько условий «убить 3 врагов одновременно».
